Scott Morrison

Specialty Trainee - PhD Candidate (Currently Out-Of-Programme)

Mr Morrison graduated with his medical degree from The University of Edinburgh in 2019. During his time at medical school, Scott also completed a BMedSci in Neuroscience. He then completed Foundation Training, and undertook one year of orthopaedic surgical training in Edinburgh prior to commencing his specialty training post in Tayside in 2022.

Mr Morrison is currently a PhD candidate at The University of St Andrews, where his work focuses on robot-assisted joint replacement surgery. He also currently works as the Scottish Centres for Orthopaedic Treatment & Innovation in Surgery and Healthcare Fellow, based at the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital. Scott is also one of the club doctors for St Johnstone FC.

Outside of work, Mr Morrison has a keen interest in golf and mountain biking.
